Honjo International Scholarship Foundation
The Honjo Foundation was founded in 1996 by Masanori Honjo, the CEO of ITO EN Ltd, based on his initial donation of more than $ 25 million and one million shares of ITO EN Ltd stock. The goal of the Honjo Foundation is to provide scholarships to foreign students, to help develop these students into leaders who will contribute to the development of the world’s emerging markets, which will profoundly expand international prosperity, and further the foundation’s ultimate goal of world peace. As of 2006, the foundation has awarded scholarships to 213 students from 36 countries.Charity & Community Events
